STORE MANAGER OPTICAL RETAIL (ALL GENDERS) | BEVERLY HILLS, LOS ANGELES

Opening Summer 2026: For our new MYKITA store, opening in July/August 2026 in Beverly Hills, California, we are looking for a committed Store Manager (all genders), ideally with a background as an optician and/or extensive retail luxury optical sales and management experience.  In this role, you combine technical expertise with the responsibility for leading the team. You organize the day-to-day store operations and create an exceptional customer experience at the highest level. 

YOUR TASKS

  • You take ownership of overall store performance, sales KPIs and target achievement.
  • Day-to-day store operations are managed and led by you, including staff planning, while developing and guiding a team of associates and opticians.
  • On the sales floor, you actively sell MYKITA frames and lenses, leading by example and delivering a highly personalized customer experience.
  • Building and developing a strong local and international client base is a key part of your role, fostering long-term relationships and customer loyalty.
  • You ensure that visual merchandising and product presentation consistently reflect MYKITA’s global brand standards.
  • Responsibility for inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and returns, lies in your hands.
  • Store finances, including budget planning, vendor payments, daily cash and settlement processes, bank deposits, and reporting, are managed by you.
  • Acting as a key HR interface between the store team and upper management, you support hiring, onboarding, and team development, including benefits and payroll coordination.
  • Eyewear dispensing, adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs are carried out by you in line with MYKITA’s quality standards (training provided).
  • You represent MYKITA’s vision and values as well as the highest level of empathic customer service.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You bring solid experience in retail management, ideally within luxury fashion and/or eyewear.
  • Strong leadership skills, combined with a hands-on and “can do” attitude, enable you to motivate and inspire your team.
  • A genuine passion for design and a strong identification with the MYKITA brand define your profile.
  • You work in a structured, independent, and well-organized manner.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential; you are fluent in English, and additional language skills are an advantage.
  • A friendly, team- and customer-oriented approach characterizes your way of working.
  • Optical experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to develop technical expertise is expected.
  • A California ophthalmic dispensing license or ABO certification is considered a plus.
